Cans for City is a supporter-led recycling scheme that turns empty aluminium drinks cans into funds for small projects at St James Park. It costs nothing to take part - just save your cans and drop them off at the ground.

How does it work?

Collect your empty aluminium drinks cans and drop them off at one of two collection cages at St James Park:

• Red Square, by the Information Hut
• Stadium Way, by the turnstiles

All donations are welcome. If you can crush the cans before dropping them off, even better - they take up less space, meaning you can fit more into a carrier bag.

What has Cans for City funded?

To date, the scheme has contributed to some lasting features at St James Park, including:

• A donation towards the building and planting of the Memorial Garden
• The wooden bench in the Memorial Garden
• One of the Returning Soldier Silhouettes on display at SJP

The scheme is always on the lookout for small projects to fund, typically anything between £200 and £300 that falls outside of normal Club-funded projects.

It's a win-win. Exeter City benefits from the extra funds raised, and the environment benefits from the recycling of aluminium that might otherwise go to waste. All for absolutely no cost to you.
