Exeter City Supporters' Trust is delighted to have supported the club with the purchase of a catering trailer that will become a permanent feature at all men and women’s matches at St James Park, helping to enhance the matchday experience for supporters while generating additional income for the club.

Named the Grecian Grill, the new catering trailer was secured after the club moved quickly to take advantage of an excellent opportunity to purchase it at a competitive price. Recognising the long-term value the trailer would bring, the Trust was pleased to provide the funding needed to complete the purchase.

The investment has been made using surplus funds from the Trust's fire fundraiser. Following the generosity of that campaign, remaining funds were earmarked specifically for stadium and supporter-focused improvements, ensuring they continue to benefit supporters long after the original fundraising effort.

As part of the agreement, a proportion of the profits from sales in the first year will be returned to the Trust to enable investment in future projects that further enhance the facilities at the stadium.

The trailer has now been professionally wrapped in Exeter City branding, complete with a thank you to the Supporters' Trust for its contribution and will make its public debut in the Fan Zone at Saturday's Party at the Park. Supporters attending the event will be among the first to enjoy the Grecian Grill's menu of freshly prepared, affordable food, overseen by the club's Catering Manager, Dan Wagner.

The Grecian Grill forms part of the club's ongoing commitment to improving the overall matchday experience for supporters. Feedback gathered through supporter surveys has consistently highlighted the importance of providing a wider choice of quality food at reasonable prices.

As well as improving the experience for supporters, the Grecian Grill represents a sound long-term investment. Operating a permanent, club-owned catering facility will create a reliable new revenue stream. The trailer also provides greater flexibility for the club to cater for busy matchdays, fan events and community activities throughout the year.

The project is another example of the close partnership between Exeter City Supporters' Trust and the football club, demonstrating how supporter investment continues to deliver improvements that benefit both the club and its fans.

Supporters’ Trust Chair Pete Ferlie said: “The Supporters Trust is very pleased that we have been able to support this project as it achieves numerous objectives we set for the club, increasing revenue to the club, providing a wider choice of product and generating seed money for another SJP project for the following season.

“To the fans, supporters and anonymous donors, thank you. Your donation will now enable us to generate even more income to support the club.”

Supporters are encouraged to visit the Grecian Grill at Saturday's Party at the Park and throughout the season as it becomes a regular part of the St James Park matchday experience.
