Vote for your Supporters' Trust Women's Young Player of the Year now!
Will Jenna, Ellen or Jess get your vote?
Voting is open for the Supporters' Trust Women's Young Player of the Year 2022/23.
It's almost awards season at Exeter City. On Sunday, April 30, shortly after City Women play their final game of the season, you can join us at Winslade Manor to see who your winners are across the Men's and Women's Season.
Again, we're putting the vote for our Women's Young Player of the Year to you. This year we have three brand new brilliant nominees to succeed Connie Pengelly, who was voted by you last term.
Signing in the early part of the 2022/2023, Jenna made an instant impact on the Grecians forward line, scoring twice at St James Park against AFC Bournemouth.
With her pace, athleticism and eye for goal Jenna has not only scored goals this season, but provided many assists for her strike partner.
At only nineteen years of age, Jenna's work rate on and off the ball has been a huge asset to the team as she begins to reach her significant potential.
Sixteen-year-old Ellen has shone in midfield this season, with ability and understanding of the game far beyond her years.
Precise in possession with the ability to strike defence splitting passes, Ellen starred in her first City start in an FA Cup tie at Saltash.
Ellen has continued that steady development throughout 2023, proving herself equal in a competitive, experienced and talented Grecians midfield. One to watch for in the coming seasons.
Confident in midfield and in defence, Jess has had another strong season since breaking through in 2021.
A threat from set pieces, she has created goals throughout the season and was a scorer herself at the recent game at St James Park. Jess' versatility and athletic style is a huge asset to City and her development has continued at a steady rate in 2023.
The teenager will be looking to become a mainstay in the City line up next season as she continues to gain experience and effect games with her energetic performances.
