Last April it was agreed by all members of the Trust board to postpone the scheduled meeting of Trustees.
The reason for this rare and unusual course of action was due to a number of circumstances, not least the high frequency of sub-committee meetings in the months leading to the originally planned date, and the confidence of the board that all essential matters were fully in hand.
As always, the required documents pertaining to the meeting were circulated and approved by the elected members of the Trust Board, and all considerations of governance - as per our rules and constitution - were followed.
