A Message from your New Board.

Wow, what a first week for the new ECFC Supporters Trust Board! We want to offer our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped us hit the ground running.

We’ve been busy forming relationships, forming the working groups and dealing with the fallout from the fire. All on the board are aware that it has been a challenging year for the club and Supporters' Trust due to internal and external forces. However, we remain committed to our model and each of you who make this club so special.

As a board, we will reflect, refresh, and move forward and will do so with improved communication that not only updates you on all the important matters related to your football club but also remains open the voices of our owners.

If you have any matters that you would like discussed or promoted by the board, then please contact us via communications@ecfcst.org.uk

A Huge Thank You!

Last week's fire at St James Park was a shock to us all and whilst there was some damage to infrastructure, there is relief that it was not far greater and that no one was hurt as a result.

As it has always been in the past, the fire has also brought out the very best of Exeter City Football Club and the football community, and for that we are truly thankful.

To every single supporter who has donated to the SJP Fire Fund - no matter the amount - thank you. The generosity has been incredible and has made a real difference at a crucial moment, not just financially but as a reminder of the football club and community that we are here in Exeter.

We’re also extremely grateful to all the sponsors, suppliers, and local businesses who have come forward with offers of financial support, services, and manpower, as well as for the encouragement from across the football community, inclusive of those from other clubs, whose donations and words of solidarity have been greatly appreciated.

We also want to give a special thank-you to the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service for their support and efforts.

Football and community at its best is a family, and this week has been a perfect example of that.

The main goal of the fundraiser has been to ensure that funds are in place to minimise disruption and ensure that we can maintain momentum as a football club in the weeks and months to come. We will continue to update you as we make progress on this front.

Please if you haven’t already, donate to the fund and share it around as much as possible: bit.ly/donatesjpfire

Pack the Park

Despite the extraordinary efforts of club staff, volunteers and local businesses, we were unable to complete the extensive repairs required or to carry out the essential safety testing needed to ensure all systems are operating safely for our supporters and players this Saturday. We’re now calling on everyone to Pack the Park and show your support for the club, the staff, and all our teams for our next home game against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup 2nd round on Saturday, December 6th.

Your passion, support and dedication mean everything to the teams and to the football club.

Fans Forum

I would like to invite you all to our Supporters’ Trust Fans Forum on Tuesday, November 25th, at St James Park.

Doors will open from 6pm in the Supporters' Trust on the night, with the forum starting at 6:30pm, and the evening will be split into two parts.

The first part will see Exeter City manager Gary Caldwell discuss the season so far, provide an update on players and how City's younger players are doing and his response to the SJP fire situation and fundraising efforts. Gary will also take questions that have been sent in or are asked on the night.

The second part will be an update from the Supporters' Trust and an opportunity for members to ask questions to the new Trust Board.
