At the last Trust Board meeting (November 10th 2025), it was confirmed that Peter Ferlie has been elected as the new Chair of the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust.
Peter has agreed to take on the role for 12 months and has requested not to sit on the Club Board during this time, ensuring a clear line of transparency between his position and the work of the Trust.
Additionally, newly elected Trustee Tony Badcott has been appointed Vice Chair of the Trust and will represent the Trust on the Club Board.
Re-elected Trustee Richard Knight was also elected to represent the Trust on the Club Board, serving alongside Tony and Julen Beer.
The decision of the working group leads was voted on in the last board meeting and tonight's Trust Board meeting (December 8th 2025) , following the arrival of new trustee Nick Bryant.
Gary Quick will lead the Finance & Governance
Richard Knight will continue to lead the Owners & Membership Group (Standing Down as Lead)
Nick Bryant will lead the Communications & Engagement Group.
Doug Gillard will lead the Community group.
Speaking following his new position, Peter said:
“It’s an honour and a privilege to have been elected as Chair of the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust. As a firm believer in fan ownership, it means something really special to me. There are certainly some challenges ahead for the Club and the Supporters’ Trust over the next few months, but I know that with teamwork, a can-do attitude and support from fellow owners, these challenges will be overcome. As someone else recently said – let’s crack on.”
We wish all Trustees every success in their new roles as they help lead the Trust and continue to strengthen the supporter ownership model at Exeter City Football Club.
