The Supporters' Trust is pleased to announce that our Young Player of the Year 2019/20 is Lewis Wilson, pictured here with his trophy at the Cliff Hill training ground.
Lewis is a quick centre-forward who finished last season as the top goal-scorer for the under-18s. Like many of our academy graduates, Lewis has been with the club for many years, having progressed from the under-9s to first-year professional status. He's presently on loan at Bideford alongside fellow academy grad
Speaking following the presentation of the award, trustee and club director, Elaine Davis, said: 'Lewis is a worthy recipient of this award for last season thanks to his performances on the pitch and character off it. The Supporters' Trust wishes Lewis a successful time at Bideford and we hope to see him on the pitch at SJP in the future.
Lewis has had to wait six-months to receive his trophy due to Covid restrictions, but he can now see his name added to an illustrious list of former winners.
