Several years ago, the Club Board Chairman at the time, Richard Pym, had a simple but thoughtful idea: offer a free cup of tea to the first 50 away fans to arrive at St James Park. Since then, what began as a small gesture of hospitality has become a well-loved part of the matchday experience.
Justin Dillon, a familiar face on the road with the Grecians, knows just how much a small gesture can mean.
"I've been cheered by a free drink on several occasions after travelling for hours," he said.
This season, Justin is taking that kindness even further. As a committed supporter and sponsor, he approached the Supporters' Trust with an offer to fund the entire free tea initiative for away fans visiting SJP up until December.

"I hope it will help create a positive welcome for away fans," he added.
Exeter City has long been recognised for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Recent Family Excellence reports have praised the warm welcome extended to both home and away supporters, and it's not just the tea that makes a difference.
From our Club Ambassadors to volunteers and Centre Spot staff, there's always someone on hand with a smile and friendly advice. It's that spirit of community and hospitality that sets Exeter City apart.
So, a heartfelt thank you to Justin for his generosity, and to everyone who will be helping to welcome our visitors throughout the season.
