Party at the Park returns July 7


The popular Party at the Park, Family Fun Day returns to St James Park on Sunday, July 7 in aid of the Exeter City Community Fund.


There will be a full day of activities for the whole family, starting from 11am and running until 6:15pm.


The event is free to attend and open to all and is in partnership with club partners Nevada Construction.


The event will see the launch of the NEW Exeter City away shirt with appearances by Exeter City Men’s and Women’s players (you can even train with the Women’s team on the inflatable pitch at 1pm!) and Grecian and Lexi Exeter City’s Mascots will be appearing during the day.


A day full of song and dance featuring music from Siân Hawkins, Ian Boyd, Modlites, New Variants and Exeter Starlites Cheerleaders.

The six organisations who will benefit from the Exeter City Community Fund are Exeter City Community Trust, Exeter Community Initiatives, Alright Mate? CiC, Exeter Leukaemia Fund, Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services, and Refugee Support Devon.


Online Auction

Alongside the days activities we are running an online auction featuring some money can’t buy experiences. You can view the items and place a bid here

The auction will close at 4:30pm on the day of the event, although you do not need to be present on the day to take part.


Stadium Tours

Why not make a day of it by joining a stadium tour? Tours cost just £2 with all proceeds going to the Exeter City Community Fund's six charities.The tours start at 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm and 3:30pm, and start outside the VIP entrance off the Fan Zone at St James Park, please arrive 5 minutes prior to the departure time. The Tours last about an hour and provide a wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes of a Football League club.


The tours include the dressing rooms, Museum Room, the Security Centre and many other interesting areas which provides a unique insight into their match day role. At the same time the guides relay information about the history of the club making use of the visuals and displays which are all around the stadium plus some unusual and interesting stories which fans may not be familiar with!To book your place please complete the form here and we will confirm your place on your chosen tour. Places are limited and so please book early.


Activities on the day

Activities include Street Soccer and Inflatable Challenges, the Junior Grecians Family Zone will be open featuring Games Consoles, Table Football, Large Screen TV, Ice Creams, Tea & Coffee. There will also be Face Painting, Stalls, Games and Competitions.


Static displays from Devon and Cornwall Police, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue. 

The Supporters' Trust will have a stall in the fan zone.


There will be a Grand Raffle with some fantastic prizes, tickets are available on the day.

Our bars will be open, food will be available from Dan's American Kitchen, there will be Ice Creams and even Candy Floss available.


Music & Dance Line-up:


12pm: Siân Hawkins

Siân Hawkins from Exeter is a solo singer covering songs from across the decades.Whilst adapting to suit the audience, her passion for music shines through with every performance.


1pm: Dance 1:30pm: Ian Boyd

Ian Boyd is a popular Exmouth Singer, a former X-Factor and Stars in their Eyes contestant, has a whole host of songs in his vocabulary. Old and new, with something for the whole family, this seasoned professional is sure to have you singing along.


2:30pm: Exeter Starlites Cheerleaders

Exeter Starlites Cheerleading was established in 2008 with just a handful of members but rapidly grew in strength and size into a team winning combination.


Cheerleading is a unique athletic discipline which puts together cheers, chants, stunts, jumps, arm motions, tumbling and dance. All these elements are combined to produce Cheerleading, Stunt and Pom dance Routines.

3:30pm: Modlites

The band are from North Cornwall and play a mixture of Mod, Rock and Rhythm and Blues expect classic tunes from The Who, The Jam and the Small Faces amongst others.Four talented musicians who will get your feet tapping and hands clapping a real feelgood band.


5pm: New Variants

New Variants are a modern indie rock band covering everything from Oasis, Blur and Stereophonic to The White Stripes, The Killers and even a bit of rocked up ABBA in between.

Seen at several festivals they are bound to bring some great rock indie anthems from the past few decades to any festival or party.
