Scott Walker Post-Match | One Of Our Own Cup

Junior Grecians manager Scott Walker spoke to the press after his side's emphatic victory in the One Of Our Own Cup final on Sunday.

"What a thriller of a game! I must admit, it was an amazing game to be involved in - social media must have been going crazy!"

"As a collective the team played outstanding in the second half. The turning point must have been when there was a slight muddle-up at the back and Quinn, of all players, was on his front foot and was able to tap it in the back of the net. That was great for us".

'I couldn't possibly highlight one player. It was a collective - everyone today really dug deep, trained really hard throughout the week, there was huge camaraderie in the dressing room after the game. You could tell that they were all really buzzing with the result".

"We're really going to rock into town, maybe go to McDonald's and I may even go for a large cheeseburger meal!"

FUNDRAISING

Entry into the draw will help to raise funds for Exeter City Community Trust and Exeter Community Initiatives, each of whom have done – and will continue to do – vital work in our local community.

In the past year, both these organisations have been a part of the City’s community Covid response, and whilst there are better times ahead for many of us, there are still those within the City and Greater Exeter area who will benefit hugely from the direct support that your donation/ticket price will help these charities to provide all year round.

SPONSORSHIP

You can also help to raise funds for CCT and ECI by sponsoring the game. These sponsorships will be invaluable to our aim of raising money for the City Community Trust and Exeter Community Initiatives, and should you also wish to help to raise funds for two incredibly valuable community organisations, then please contact our Director of Community Engagement, Elaine Davis via eadavis5@hotmail.com

A big thank you to all our sponsors for the game:
