The Week Ahead- April 4, 2022

What's coming up at the Trust

The beginning of April comes a shower of events here at the Supporters Trust so this is what you can expect in the next few days.


Tuesday April 5:

Extra Time Hub

Our Extra Time Hub is open again on Tuesday morning. The event run by the Exeter Community Trust is open to all who want to come down and interact with each other. Tea and other refreshments are available in the Grecian Centre from 10:30am.


EFL Week of Action Player Appearences

On Tuesday afternoon we are hosting a special event at St James Park with Manager Matt Taylor, Captain Matt Jay, Vice-Captain Pierce Sweeney and Exeter City Women's Captain Manfy Sharpe where they will meet with people that CCT have supported over the last 12 months for tea and cake and a Q&A session.


Wednesday April 6:

Matt Taylor meets St Martins U14's

Men's First Team Manager Matt Taylor will be running a special coaching session at Exwick Sports Hub for St Martins under-14s.


Thursday April 7

Senior Reds to host Mike Mullarkey at St James Park

This weeks Senior Reds meeting will be hosting World Cup Assistant Referee Mike Mullarkey in the Centre-Spot at 2pm. Mike was running the line for Howard Webb in the 2010 FIFA World Cup final as Spain beat the Netherlands in extra time. Mike is also an Exeter City ambassador for Level Playing Field, the Disabled Supporters association's partner. The meeting is open to all who wish to come and chat to Mike.


Saturday April 9

Carlisle United v Exeter City, Brunton Park.

It's a crucial time in the season for our Men's senior side. With seven games to play, Matt Taylor's men travel the length of the country to face a resurgent Carlisle United team in a bid to extend their impressive form.


Sunday April 10

Poole Town v Exeter City, Dorset FA HQ

After a solid performance against league leaders Cheltenham, the City women are back on the road themselves with a hop up to Dorset to take on bottom-of-the-league Poole. Though the title may not be coming to Devon, positive momentum will be on the minds of Abbie Britton and Aaron Wakley's team ahead of the County Cup Final later this month.


Monday April 11

April Trust Board Meeting

The Trust Board will be reconvening on Monday to confirm minutes from March and discuss matters going forward. Part A is open to members from 7:30pm, Zoom details will be announced in due course.


Tuesday April 12

Disabled Supporters Association meeting

Our Disabled Supporters Association will be meeting again for April. New members are always welcome. Full details announced soon.
